Flight Nanny Rabbit Delivery
In our years of buying and selling rabbits, the hardest part of purchasing has been physically getting the rabbit to its new home.
Traditional Rabbit Transport
Traditional rabbit transports are a fascinating operation. The transporter books rabbits on and off his or her vehicle on a route across the country, with hundreds or thousands of rabbits total per run. (Of course that’s lots of exposure to other rabbits and potential for sickness even with the best transporters!) Each stop has a designated time that all buyers and sellers must meet the car/van. As you can imagine, one late person or small hiccup on the vehicle or with traffic will shift all the other stops along the route. This option usually costs the buyer upwards of $100 per rabbit plus all the stress of not knowing how the rabbit will fare on the sometimes 2-week transport!
A Better Way
Having a flight nanny allows us to simply pop the rabbit into a carrier, fly to you, and put it in your arms the same day. Much, much less stress to the rabbit, and a much healthier and more reliable method of getting her to you!
How it Works
Message us with which rabbit you’re interested and which airport you’d like to meet us at.
Most contiguous 48-states airports that receive Alaskan Airlines flights will be approved - but we are still figuring out details so let us know what you’re thinking and we will confirm.
If you have special requirements for the timeframe of the flight, please let us know at this point. Perhaps you don’t do Mondays. We will need to make sure we can get it to you without involving a Monday. (We don’t do Sunday deliveries.)
We will hold that rabbit for you for 48 hours. If you decide to proceed, go ahead and purchase the rabbit and the Flight Nanny Service.
We will book the flight and let you know where to meet us, including the flight number so you can track it for delays.
You will pick your rabbit up at the airport within an hour of the flight landing or pay $100 late fee plus $100/hour you are late. (We may have other commitments or an early flight back out, so we need to be able to count on you.)
The flight nanny fee includes an appropriate carrier.
Additional rabbits fly free.
You could even team up with local breeders to bring in several at once and save costs over traditional transport!
By choosing our flight nanny service you agree that you’ve read this and agree to the terms. We can’t wait to actually meet you in person!
